Though there isn't much here in the way of entertainment, Tia Maria's is a great place to meet locals and find out what Puerto Rico is really like. Part of its popularity might be that it is known for serving the strongest drinks on the island.

i came here to star off the night and let me tell you that it was wall to wall full with local guy none of them cute but friendly i would say not really much for the trans crowd. NOW.....The best part is that you can have two drinks from here and you will not need another for a week"that strong" i guess be cause its a "liquar store" the size of my kitchen that. they can do that but have a friend to handy help drive you home when you get drunk! and you will get drunk...trust me!

Great Spot

I was a nurse at the De Diego Hospital, one block from Tia Maria, so every night after work I was regular. great people and very friendly staff. Also, great partys on Pride weekend. June 5-7. I will be there this year. Come and celebrate with us. Yanko

oposite of starz club, mostly locals, gets crowded early and stays so long, drinks not expensive, often people in front of bar smoking, easy to connect, nice easy place, two billard tables in the back,
