Beautiful Hotel and Friendly staff
I stayed from Oct 13-18..Beautiful hotel and friendly staff..great pool and swim up bar. Also has water slide..stay in cabana for ocean view or tower with ocean and city view. Love the beach is walking distance and free chairs and umbrella. Also close to all bars and clubs..Atlantic Beach hotel and bar next door..definitely had a amazing time by myself and met many locals who are nice
Bring long pants for the evening, the lobby bar definitely has a classier feel & you may well feel out of place or be asked to move on if you're in shorts & flip flops still.
Plan to return.
On a recent trip I stayed 3 nites at El Convento and 3 nites here, at Marriott. Ocean view room and view was awesome. Not a luxurious place but fitting for a Marriott Hotel. Clean and comtemporary. Every single employee was professional and helpful aside for one. (I was waiting for the next desk person to help me and take a letter for the mail and she was looking at me and gossiping on the phone in Spanish. Evidently she did not think I understood what she was saying, however, I am fluent in Spanish.. she continued a personal phone call for several minutes before interrupted her for service) Every single other employee went out of their way for me.. delivering a fridge to the room, checking my internet connection, etc.. Good maid service, NIce bar and casino in the lobby. I think it is the nicest Hotel in CONDADO. I prefer Condado to Isla Verde. Much more to do, more restaurants, clubs, etc.. Nice beachs. Good mixed clientle at Marriott. Plan to return this summer.

Very Nice Hotel Right on the Beach
This is a nice, large full-service hotel right on Condado Beach. Rooms are tastefully furnished, and the views on the ocean side of the hotel are beautiful. If you walk to the beach on Calle Vendig (on the west side of the hotel), you can slip right into the gay bar of the Atlantic Beach Hotel. There's lots of hot meat on the beach right there too!
