Pride Puerto Rico

San Juan is the home of Pride Puerto Rico, which takes place during the first weekend of June. It's usually on a Sunday, but a buzz can be felt in the air the Friday and Saturday as well. It's the largest Pride on the island, and one of the largest in the Caribbean. Trans rights are especially important during the Parade. As you can expect, the Parade and Festival center is in the beach areas, with DJs and performers usually taking the stage in El Ultimo Trolley Beach, where the parade ends, and Escambron.
