Nice Rooms, expensive restuarants and drinks
Its a great hotel. Love the location, but be careful they have resort fee which they dont tell you about till checkout. Was here 3 days @ $225 a night and was hit with a resort fee of $122.00.
Awesome location!
Don't have a single bad thing to say about La Concha. The employees were impeccable, the hotel was perfectly clean and my room was incredible. Went to sleep listening to the ocean every night that I was there. It's definitely not a place to go if you're looking for a quiet spot to stay. The band can be a little loud later in the evening on weekend nights, but you shouldn't be staying in the middle of Condado if you're looking for quiet!
Love La Concha
I agree with the previous reviewer that this is among the best places to stay in San Juan. The hotel is top notch, the beach beautiful and the amenities the best I saw (nice pool, club and workout room). Steps from the property are great restaurant choices. Would defnitely recommend this and will return.

Love the La Concha
The La Concha is by far the best resort in San Juan. The hotel is trendy and modern without being uncomfortable and cozy. The staff is excellant and always willing to assist. As for the gay scene, I have seen many fellow gay travelers here and according to the locals this hotel is "the place" for gay travelers. Theres no kids either which is nice in my book. If you stay elsewhere you need to at least visit the La Concha bar at night just to people watch and have a drink by the pool just to enjoy the cool lighting.
