This place is fun.
I believe this is the only club we went to that had loud music and a dance floor. Get there after 1 AM on a weekend night (Thursday-Saturday). The music is so loud that you can feel it vibrating inside you. It was a mixture of EDM/Top 40's. The bartenders are quite friendly and so are the people.
Great fun great people
Friendly bartenders. Great shots. Hot drag, local and visitors will have fun. Enjoyed the pat-down by the door security guy.
It's Free
It is not some lavish Miami club or fancy place. It is 2 levels with various rooms, but most of the rooms are fairly small. The music was not the style of music that I would like to hear, but that's just my musical taste. Even with the somewhat negative things I mentioned, I would still go back. Most of the men are friendly and it seems to be more of a social gathering and not as much as a dance club. This is the most crowded of the gay clubs in the area. People can even have some "fun" in the club. It is free so advise to check it out. Most if not all of the other places in the area cost a few bucks, so I don't see why someone wouldn't check this place out.
Liked it.
I visited this bar on Saturday, 9/21/13. This was my first trip to Puerto Rico. It was a short one. I wanted to fit in a visit to one good gay bar and was lucky to find it right away, with the help of the reviews here at gaycities.com.. I arrived around midnight and it was packed. Everyone seemed to be having a really good time. I tried to decipher if more people were speaking in English or Spanish, but couldn't make out what people were saying because it was a lively crowd so maybe someone can clue me in. It has a very good mixture of ages so I felt comfortable right away. It's a two-level bar, and in each area they show music videos. I liked the views of the street from the upper level. There's a pool table on the upper level. I suggest being aware of your surroundings when going and leaving because the area, down a hill from Avenida Ponce de León, looked sketchy to me. Upon leaving the security immediately asked if I wanted a taxi, which I think is a very considerate. I stayed a bit less than a mile away at the Courtyard San Juan Miramar on Avenida Ponce de León. It was a good choice.
