Over Hyped
Everyone keep telling me that this was the place to go to have a great time (friends and the hotel staff), however i was every let down. It has 4 floors, but there all about the size of a Mahattan Apts living. The drinks were great and cheap, the bartender was sweet as well. The crowed was very young and the music was very lame (i'm an 80's baby). Also everyone arrives after 12:30pm, i arrived at 11pm and was 1 of 5 that were there. If this was the best that PR has to offer, I say just stay in my hotel room and throw your own party with the jams you enjoy.
What a Dump!!
First advice, if you really have to go...I'd suggest a two drink minimum. Although Angel (bartender) pours a real nice drink. The place has potential as a gutted out, graffiti scrawled hangout. I've been to many a gay venue over the years and it could have been a real funky place. But the local crowd is gut bucket with an over top delusional sense of grandeur. A bunch of brokeback adolescent pretenders of royalty. Not to mention a strong presence of xenophobia. I'm light brown skin and I counted only on other, but he was a local. Its located in a seedy part of town (which was fun) and if they charged a $3 admission it'd go out of business w/in a week. What a dump. is this is what Condado has to offer in gay fun? Save your money and sense of well being and love the beach and be a tourist.
Nice bar scary neighborhood.
After being at Splash and treated like royalty this is let down. Scary neighborhood, lots of drugs scary staff that must scan you with a scan fun to get in. Average music to loud. Overall okay experience best bar in this area but my favorite was Splash and Atlantic hotel bar.
