Atlantic Beach Hotel and Bar (Closed Permanently)

A Place For Past Memories..

This was the place to be 10 yrs ago, when Barefoot bar was directly across the street. People would go back and forth and down on the beach; sex happening everywhere. All types; jock, drag queens, hustlers,older, younger and in between. NO MORE!! Was there a few weeks ago and bartenders have attitude, lousy drinks, and not gay friendly at all. Still some action on the Bch. mostly hustlers and druggies looking for money. Still worth a drink at sun set and a trip down memory lane. Don't know how the place stays in business.

Not-so-friendly bartenders

This bar is really a shame.... It's front-and-center on the beach and has a beautiful set-up and setting. But oh man, the bartenders were just awful....you would have thought we were crashing a party. I'm not sure what the deal was, but we were certainly nice and certainly tipped. Anyway, the word on the street is that this place had it's day once ago, but isn't so hot any more. I agree! Check it out, but keep your expectations low. We were there on a Thursday and Friday night and there never was more than a dozen folks in there.

Fun Bar on the Shore

Good old days in San Juan... If you want to see the sunset in beautiful San Juan, I recommend Atlantic Beach Bar. Great service and great drinks, conveniently located. Must-see!

Nice local, slow crowd

Loved the location, but the crowd left something ti be desired. I've droppes by on both trips to SJ and been disappointed both times.

Beautiful Bar

This place was beautiful! Great decor and lighting. Very upscale. Great veiw of the beach! I went there three times over the course of my vacation... and walked right back out. There was 6 people in the bar... MAX! I didn't even buy a drink.
